How to Enter

Updated process for 2017

All submissions should be submitted via our online entry portal no later than Friday, September 15 2017.

Specific details for each category are detailed on the categories tab. As a rule of thumb, we would suggest that all submitted entried be approximately 3500 - 4000 words. Supporting materials must be provided.

This year will see an important change to the judging methodology. An expert judging panel will be assembled, consisting of executives from private banks, advisers, distributors and issuing dealers. Senior journalists will also be on the judging panel. Members of the panel will only judge those categories applicable to their areas of expertise.

Winners will be decided on the strength of entries alone.

Pitches will be treated as off-the-record as per usual, but firms should be aware that the documents will be seen by the judging panels, who will be treating them as confidential.

Client Testimonials:
This year we are asking entrants to include client testimonials, rather than the details of clients who are happy to be contacted. Please aim to include testimonials from at least three clients who are happy to provide a reference for the work you did with them over the past 12 months.

All information provided in entry documents will still be treated as on the record.

Entry Structuring:
Your entry can be structured as you wish, but should include milestones from the previous 12 months, including key metrics such as revenue statistics, issuance volumes or assets under management; a thematic discussion of the firm's achievements over that time; and case studies that demonstrate how particular problems were overcome, how a certain deal was structured, or where you believe outstanding client service was provided.

To give entrants the best opportunity of winning, we urge you to showcase everything you're most proud of from the past 12 months - be it landmark deals, client wins or the successful navigation of a thorny risk management problem. In turn, it gives our judging panel a chance to reward entrants on the basis of a greater breadth of information.

The deadline is Friday, September 15 2017. Late submission will only be considered at the editor's discretion. Any questions on submissions should directed to

Good luck!
